KANSAS CITY LIMITED EDITIONS
Cara and Cabezas Contemporary offers a print of one new artwork by a Kansas City artist six times annually. The prodution of each edition is supervised by the artist. The print dimensions and edition size vary monthly depending on scale of selected artists’ work. Prints are made with archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper. Every single print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by the artist.
PICNIC ON ART ISLAND
In conjunction with the print release, Cara and Cabezas Contemporary organizes in-studio picnics hosted by selected artists and catered by local chefs. The event series, Picnic on Art Island, seeks to offer a unique culinary and cultural experience.
CARA AND CABEZAS CONTEMPORARY
The mission of Cara and Cabezas Contemporary is to represent and exhibit the work of contemporary artists from Central and South America alongside that of local artists living in the cities in which the gallery occupies exhibition space, currently San Francisco and Kansas City. Working in multiple venues, Cara and Cabezas Contemporary provides the opportunity to share a particular body of work with diverse audiences and expands exchange between cultural centers.
